The Georgia Constitution of 1777 was created by Georgia's Provincial Congress, also known as Georgia's Trustees. The Georgia Constitution of 1777 was created soon after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The weakness was that not all people were given the rights they deserve. For example, blacks were not allowed any rights and women of any race were not permitted to vote.
