Cotton GinThis product was created in 1793 by Eli Whitney. Eli Whitney got the idea from his good friend, and created the product. The cotton gin was created to help farmers all over the united states. The process of separating cotton seeds from the cotton was a long process. The cotton gin makes this process easier. The problem was that the cotton gin increased use of slaves.

RailroadsRailroads were the most important invention during the Western Expansion. They provided transportation for people and good all over the United States. They were also used for trading with Indians. It revolutionized the United States. The first railroad system in Georgia was the Western and Atlantic Railroad. It attracted many people, and caused the capital of the state to move to Atlanta.
